Use of the USU Student Health and Wellness Center
Registered Utah State Students and their spouses and dependents are eligible to use the providers and services of the Student Health Center. An appointment is recommended. Faculty and staff are eligible for urgent care services but not for on-going or routine annual services. It is not necessary for you to have Health Insurance to receive care.
Payment for use of the Health Center
You are not required to have health insurance to use the Student Health and Wellness Center or to see a doctor there. When you register for classes each semester, you pay a student health fee, which enables us to provide many of our professional services without any additional cost to you. Spouses and dependents pay a similar fee to access the Health Center for the full semester.
Our laboratory tests, x-rays and physical therapy visits, individual diet counseling and some of our supplies have fees associated with them. While we expect payment at the time of service, we will work with you to receive payment from your insurance, and we will accept Visa, Mastercard, and Aggie Express cards.
While we will do our very best to see you quickly for your illness or health question, it is best if you make an appointment before you come to the Student Health Center to be seen. Most of our appointments are made for the same day that you call.
Our phone number is (435)797-1660. Having you make an appointment enables us to see you more quickly, rather than making you wait in the waiting room for an available time.
